Finally it passed |
Fiuhhh...
That's the first word should I say on Saturday noon. Yup, I passed it.... I had no worries. I went from NTU to Jurong East MRT around 7am, at first I was afraid it'd be late, but I reached there sharply at 7.30am. Hehe. Waited for Ferry around 30 mins. He came late...30 mins late it's more than late. Haha. We continued the journey to Orchard MRT then took SBS 174 at the opposite exit B. During MRT journey, Ferry told me he's been experincing this kind of gastric during his exam and even worse he vomitted right before entering exam hall. Huh, what a university life! He suggested me not to study alone anymore, better if I study together so that can chit chat. It will reduce stress. May be I'll try it next year (as next sem no exam for me...so nice!!!).
Fortunately we managed to reach Gleneagles Medical Centre sharply at 9am, as indicated in the appointment form. The venue consisted of lots of small clinics owned by each surgeon. Far away from my imagination that figured it's a big hospital like the one in Jakarta. After settling all the administrative matters, waited for another 45 mins. While we were waiting so surprised that on the clinic's wall all the doctor's certificates were pasted. Wow they were original. Hmm just wondering how come he's not afraid of stealing.
I entered the doctor's small room after the kind female receptionist called me to do so. The doctor (around middle-aged) was very kind and I think he was a very passionate surgeon...he asked lots of investigation questions and explained my curiosity about the procedure completely and always said not to worry. His name's Dr Low. He brought me into another building of Gleneagles Hospital downstairs. He also introduced me that there were 2 students would watch the procedure.
All were prepared after few minutes. He injected some anasthesy into my right hand to make me feel drowsy and sprayed another bitter anasthesy into my mouth so I didn't feel anything in my throat. The procedure was very fast but I vomitted around three times, I think that's normal. Just imagine when something big and long was pushed into your mouth hahaha.
I was supposed to feel drowsy for about an hour but in fact it's very short. I passed it finally, and my worried all disappeared. Thanks dr Low for making me very calm and relax. May god bless you always for your good job. He said I had an inflamation inside my stomach. It was due to hyperacidity, related to stress. He suggested me not to study very hard ( what he meant may be "but still study hard" :)) and be relax for few days, so the acid are stopped producing. Another kind nurse asked not to do tiring activities during next 12 hours...
I went back to NTU around 11.30am taking 174 directly to Boon Lay, it took very long...Hmm around 1 hour. Haha but the view was nice. I enjoyed it a lot. If I were not wrong I passed by ex darren's father condo which we had visited there around 2 years a go. Ate my lunch at JP banquet and went to my room to rest. So long journey for that day...Special thanks to dr Low and Ferry Ris. Thanks for all. Really appreciate it. And last but not least special thanks to NTU who gave me worthwhile insurance for this procedure. |
